The high-quality Aqua Lung automation LEGEND 3 has proper performance as its main priority. The breathing characteristics are the same as for the LEGEND ELITE and LEGEND MBS automatics.

Automatic diving for extremely cold conditions has a switch that is ergonomic and more comfortable to operate. In addition, it is equipped with an elastomer that is soft to the touch. This allows or suppresses freeflow.

The automation is suitable for very cold waters.

Technical properties:

1st degree:
If stage I is not connected to the cylinder valve, the automatic shut-off valve (ACD) keeps the inlet closed to protect the interior of the first stage from contamination and condensation. It thus maintains internal lubrication. Keeps the inlet filter clean and dry.

It is safer for mixtures with a higher percentage of oxygen

It offers exceptional performance in cold water. The integrated LEG3ND dry chamber keeps internal components clean and dry by isolating them from the outside environment. Where there is no water and moisture, no ice is formed. The deep fins provide a large surface area for heat exchange, which helps prevent ice formation compared to previous models (30% vs. Legend Glacia / 70% vs. Legend 2). The new dry chamber cover slows down the formation of ice through the outer membrane

Automatically transported (also known as Over-Balanced). Gradually increases the medium pressure and thus maintains the maximum optimization of the respiratory cycle. Depending on the depth of the diver, the medium pressure in the first stage is automatically increased to compensate for the increased density of the breathing gas.

Ergonomically shaped DIN and YOKE screws, made of "Soft Grip" material, provide better grip when installing or removing the first stage - especially with cold hands.

A special cap for automatic closing (ACD) screwed onto the thread of the DIN regulator, serves to protect the thread and the ACD system from shocks and other possible damage. Perfectly placed 2x HP and 4x LP ports ensure optimal hose routing.

2nd degree:
The new cover (shower) of the second stage improves the conduction of water through radial openings to the sides through the membrane. These holes also prevent freeflow when diving in stronger currents. The new design of the holes reduced the flow of water above the membrane by an impressive 20%.

The newly redesigned exhalation openings are made of fine elastomer and thanks to the enlarged openings, there is better access to the exhalation membrane and its eventual cleaning.

The patented mouthpiece made of Comfobite reduces jaw fatigue and ensures a more comfortable and pleasant second-degree grip in the mouth. The deflector inside the mouthpiece directs the gas flow evenly into the mouth during the inhalation phase.

The detachable and reusable mouthpiece clamp allows quick and easy mouthpiece replacement without the use of tools.

The enlarged heat exchanger helps prevent the second stage mechanism from freezing.

2nd degree (octopus):
Octopus is specially designed for LEG3END, LEG3ND ELITE and LEG3ND MBS series automatics and is adapted for cold water.
