Diving Weights, belts for divers Weight Diving Belts
Weight Diving Belts
We have several types of weight belts for you. Someone chooses pocket weight belts, which he puts around his waist, fastens the buckle and inserts a shotgun load or lead cubes into the pockets on the tape. These belts with weight pockets are designed especially for recreational divers or snorkelers who undertake undemanding descents.
For technical divers, there are mainly load belts, which are finished with either a metal or plastic buckle. Lead cubes or oval weights fit comfortably on the belt.
Many technical divers solve their load using various load systems, which are located either on the straps or equipment carriers, such as the back plate. Modular systems with easily replaceable pockets or systems with the possibility of quick load drop are popular. Today, such systems are also part of the offered jackets and combined buoyancy compensators.
Today, freediving scuba divers often choose smooth rubber belts with a metal or plastic buckle. New are buckles with a classic thorn. Lead weights of the required weight are pushed onto the belts. Elastic bands are important in freediving because of aerodynamics and the least possible water resistance. For this reason, scuba divers cannot wear belts with large pockets that would hold them back during a dive. During a breath dive, it is no longer possible to adjust the belt in various ways, as can divers do, so smooth rubber belts are made for freedivers, which do not loosen or slip when the suit is compressed.
The category also includes spare belt buckles. You can choose between both plastic and metal buckles.
