Diving Diving lights Primary and Backup Dive Lights
Primary and Backup Dive Lights
The main and backup lights serve for better visibility. However, the flashlights are not only for night dives or for diving with reduced visibility. It is also good to buy a flashlight for diving during the day, when strong colors disappear at greater depths and the red spectrum is the first to be lost. Thanks to the diving lights, you can enjoy diving even at greater depths. For interest, already at a depth of 20 m you can see the colors rather blue-gray, it is already worth buying a powerful lamp that will allow you to see the natural colorful colors of corals and fish in their true shade.
The headlight should therefore have a long battery life combined with strong and long-lasting brightness. The backup light is usually smaller and may be slightly dimmer. The backup light source actually serves in case the main lamp stops working. It is therefore possible to have a backup flashlight attached to your shoulder or to have it in your pocket. Thanks to this, it will not interfere with you during the dive and you will appreciate its low weight.
