Diving Diving lights Primary and Backup Dive Lights
Primary and Backup Dive Lights
The main and backup lights are used for better visibility underwater. Diving lights are not only for night dives or diving in low visibility. It is also a good idea to buy a light for diving during the day, when at greater depths, distinctive colors disappear and the red spectrum is the first to be lost. Thanks to diving lights, you can enjoy diving at greater depths even more. Interestingly, at a depth of 20 m, you already see colors rather blue-gray, so it is worth buying a powerful light that will allow you to see the natural colorful colors of corals and fish in their true hue.
The main light should therefore have a long battery life combined with strong and long-lasting luminosity. The backup light is usually smaller and can be slightly weaker. The backup light source is really used in case the main light stops working. It is therefore possible to have the backup flashlight attached to your shoulder or carry it in your pocket. Thanks to this, it will not get in your way during the dive and you will also appreciate its low weight.
