Diving Weights, belts for divers Diving Weights
Diving Weights
Among the diving weights, you will find a shotgun lead weight as well as classic ordinary lead in the shape of an oval or cube. The lead load, which is in the form of wrapped shots in a solid bag, the so-called bag, is ideal for either jacket pockets or pocket weight belts.
Lead cubes and oval lead are used for technical and recreational diving. Divers slide them on their belts or can be inserted directly into the buoyancy compensator pockets. These shaped weights have wide holes just for convenient placement of lead on the belt.
Weights help divers to comfortably dive. Therefore, always choose the weight according to your body weight, neoprene thickness and the weight of the entire diving equipment. Also be aware of the effect of depth pressure and change in buoyancy during a dive. There is also a difference when diving in fresh and salt water.
Never overload unnecessarily and always get right on the surface before the dive - remember that at the end of the dive you will always be LIGHTER. Yes, the reason is the exhaled air from your cylinder, which also weighs something. So don't miss the load at the end of the dive, especially when making a safety or decompression stop.
