Diving Weights, belts for divers
Weights, belts for divers
Whether you are engaged in scuba diving or prefer freediving, it is necessary to be equipped with the appropriate weights for both of these types of diving.
Load belts are usually used to fasten around the diver's waist, on which you place the required amount of load. In practice, we distinguish two basic types of belts. You can put an appropriate number of lead load blocks on a regular belt, you insert blocks or bags with a shotgun load into separate pockets in the pocket belt.
It is possible to use other types of loads when diving - technical divers prefer separate pockets attached to the harness, back carrier or even on the ankles of their dry suits. Their goal is the right balance when using different types of equipment. Work divers also apply weights to additional equipment or other parts of the body. Freediver divers, in turn, can choose an additional load for so-called fast diving or pulling into the depths.
There are a variety of types of weights and it always depends on the specific needs or preferences of each diver.
