What is the difference between a full face mask and a snorkel set?

Do you want to buy a snorkel set and don't know what to do? In this article, we will try to show you what equipment to choose.
The most frequently searched snorkeling pair is "snorkel and goggles". Everyone is different when it comes to using snorkels, which is why there are so many different types of snorkels. Among recreational snorkelers and beginners, snorkels with a breakwater, so-called "dry snorkels" (DRY AIR) are especially popular. These snorkels are equipped with a flap that prevents water from entering the snorkel.
An alternative to a diving mask for beginners, recreational snorkelers and children is a full-face mask, which has a special "dry top" system that prevents water from entering the mask in waves or a large head tilt. The mask tube is equipped with a float, which floats up when submerged and closes the air hole. The full-face mask provides natural breathing through the nose and mouth, so it is suitable as a diving (snorkeling) mask for children and adults for whom breathing through the snorkel system, i.e. only through the mouth, is not natural.
So how do you decide? If you are not sure, or simply afraid, we recommend a full face mask with all ten. We have experience that even children who were afraid of water overcame their fear thanks to the full-face mask.
